Heritage Park Wedding - Santa Fe Springs, Ca - Lillia + Brian

This cute Santa Fe Springs wedding took place on a beautiful, sunny summer day at Heritage Park! It was great reconnecting with Lillia and Brian after their engagement shoot at the OC Fair. The venue was just a few minutes from Lillia’s family’s home + it was so sweet watching her family get ready in the home she grew up in. Lillia and Brian tied the knot in front of a really pretty white greenhouse and celebrated with their friends and family after the ceremony on the lawn.

something borrowed: the bride’s vintage, classic shoulder-length veil

After family photos + couples portraits, Lillia + Brian rejoined their guests at the reception which had a taco bar and agua fresca! DJ Gino Euphoric got everyone on the dancefloor after dinner (and yes, I mean EVERYONE!) The couple shared a first dance, followed by a mother-son/ father-daughter dance to Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide.

Lillia had told me during our consultation call before the wedding “it’s not traditional, but I’d like to dance with my mom at some point during the reception.” The night was winding down, and with just a few moments of coverage left I reminded Lillia of the request -- the two got on the dancefloor and hugged and swayed in one of the most tender mother-daughter moments you can imagine.

This sweet summertime wedding ended with the crowd on the dancefloor, singing “Uptown Girl” at the top of their lungs. You can tell how much fun Lillia + Brian really had!
